Title: Laboratory Operations Technician II

Job Responsibilities
- This role supports refresh and refurbishment engineers and activities within the Instrument System Support Organization.
- Key responsibilities include taking inventory of failed/defective units from the field, gathering, and organizing data in Excel, operation of the instrument, and maintaining warehouse organization.
- Gathering laboratory glassware from various work areas.
- Use industrial dishwashers to thoroughly clean and sanitize the laboratory glassware.
- Ensure proper labeling and handling of the collected glassware.
- Return the cleaned glassware to their respective laboratory areas promptly.
- Receive samples into the Research and Development (R&D) sample inventory.
- Pull daily samples for testing by the laboratories.
- Properly dispose of bulk samples according to guidelines at the end of testing protocols.
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Communicate effectively with the Laboratory Operations staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
- The role requires the ability to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing between 40 to 50 lbs.throughout the workday.
Education
- Degree at the Associate or Bachelor level is required.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
