Job Description
- Perform analytical testing of various attributes of materials used in the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals and therapeutics. Materials range from pure chemical compounds to complex biological components.
- Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic, spectrometric, potentiometric, gravimetric and electrophoretic equipment, as well as perform a variety of immunochemical assays, wet chemistry, and colligative and physical attribute testing.
- Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
- Prepare standards and samples for analysis
- Document work as required for GMP compliance
- Perform maintenance of laboratory equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry .or equivalent discipline with appropriate directly related experience
- A minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical industry or 2 years of analytical chemistry experience directly relevant to the instrumentation / responsibilities
- Prior experience HPLC and Chromatographic Data System (preferred)
- Comfortable for 35% travel within 3 hours for sample collection from client office.
Additional Information
Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, overtime as needed. Candidates currently
