Current Need:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Marketing Manager to support the following McKesson business segments:
- Community Pharmacy & Health which is comprised of independent retail pharmacy customers.
- Alternate Site Pharmacy which is comprised of long-term care, specialty & infusion, and hospice customers.
- Non-acute Plasma & Biologics which is comprised of specialty pharmacy customers offering infusion services.
The ideal candidate loves to strategize and get stuff done! This individual contributor will strengthen our marketing team by driving strategy, executing, and managing marketing initiatives that align with specific business goals. The ability to be both a strategic and a creative thinker yet also have the organizational ability to methodically implement projects is key. This individual will play a vital role in supporting our businesses, demonstrating our value, and collaborating with key stakeholders and executive leadership to understand priorities and improve both internal and external engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrated Marketing Channel Strategy
- Partner with the Director of Marketing and business subject matter experts (SMEs) to represent the voice of the customer and an optimized customer journey across all owned channels including websites, customer presentations, digital media, print materials, videos, webinars and in person events.
- Manage implementation of organization-wide go-to-market strategies at the segment level, driving customer growth and retention within a large healthcare organization.
Event Management & Leadership
- Spearhead event strategy and execution, acting as a liaison between corporate event teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to define objectives and key deliverables for successful event execution.
- Own crucial deliverables and lead the engagement and content strategy for McKesson ideaShare, the nation’s premier community pharmacy event.
Content & Communications Planning
- Develop and present insights-driven content that communicates value propositions and thought leadership, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic priorities.
- Enhance sales enablement by creating and managing content that provides the sales team with the tools and resources they need to effectively promote and communicate value to customers.
Product & Service Marketing
- Serve as a consultative marketing resource for solution SMEs and/or segment stakeholders, helping to develop strategic and tactical marketing support for specific solutions/offerings (e.g., Amplify, RxOwnership). This involves identifying appropriate methods, tools, budgets, and channels to meet objectives.
Budget, Analytics, and Reporting
- Provide support for processing and invoicing as needed.
- Define and regularly provide project metrics / goals / benchmarks to stakeholders on a regular basis denoting milestones and key learnings and sharing recommendations for improvement.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.
May direct the work of others without formal management responsibilities.
May utilize internal or external resources to accomplish goals.
Minimum Requirement:
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
Education:
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications Business or related field required
Critical Skills:
- 7+ years relevant experience with specific experience executing marketing initiatives
- Proven experience managing, executing, and tracking successful marketing and communications initiatives
- Expert in MS Office with a working knowledge of other business productivity tools (CRM platforms, CMS/enterprise systems, sales enablement & communication tools)
- Experience in managing vendor relationships
- Healthcare industry preferred
B2B marketing experience preferred

Working Conditions:
Hybrid: Home Office with 1-2 days per month onsite in Irving, TX.
