Soliant is seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse (RN) to join a supportive school district in Medford, NJ, providing 1:1 care for two students with specialized needs.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of the 2024-2025 school year
- Schedule: Full-time, 7:45 AM 2:30 PM
- Caseload:
- 3rd-grade student: 1:1 support for a student with Dravet Syndrome (epilepsy)
- Kindergarten student: 1:1 support for a student with Type 1 Diabetes
- Additional Info:
- Both students have special needs and are lower functional cognitively
- No heavy lifting or bus riding required
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care and monitoring tailored to the students' individual needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and medical professionals to ensure student safety and health
- Maintain accurate health records and emergency plans
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Jersey
- Prior pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
