We are seeking a highly motivated
Medical Physicist to join our team. We are committed to delivering high-quality cancer care and clinical research to patients in their own communities.
As a Medical Physicist, you will be responsible for evaluating treatment plans for radiation therapy, ensuring the safety of healthy tissues, and performing quality assurance on therapy equipment. You will also manage the treatment planning system and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate therapy equipment for accurate radiation delivery.
- Oversee machine maintenance and repair.
- Manage radiation dose distributions for patients.
- Maintain records for regulatory compliance.
- Implement quality management programs for radiation equipment.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists on patient treatment plans.
Requirements
- Masters or Doctorate in physics or related field.
- One year of training in therapeutic radiological physics.
- One year of experience in a therapy facility, including equipment calibration.
Preferred Experience
- Clinical medical physics residency.
- Board certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and regulations.
- Familiarity with Aria and RayStation treatment planning software.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and coding skills (Python preferred).
