Job Details
Unit: Wound Ostomy Team (Arthur M Blank & Scottish Rite)
Shift
Monday to Friday - 10-hour shifts
Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
Floating: Required between Egleston & Scottish Rite campuses.
Scrub Color: Any color
Required Qualifications
FLU Vaccine is required (no exceptions)
Up-to-date resume with 1+ years of Wound Ostomy experience, including travel experience
Two recent Wound Ostomy Charge/Manager RN references
Current BLS certification
Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification is required (no exceptions)
Graduation from an accredited WOC nursing education program
NURSYS Report for license verification with an active RN license
RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at the time of submission
Job Description
As a Wound and Ostomy Care RN in Atlanta, you'll be responsible for providing specialized wound and ostomy care, including wound vac dressings/placements, wound debridement, ostomy care and pouch changes, and ostomy teaching. You'll work with specialty equipment, including making specialty bed recommendations for weight distribution, and ensuring effective Wound Vac knowledge.
