The New Business Development Sales Leader is accountable for growth through acquisitions of new logo clients for Health Insights and MarketScan. This Sales Leader will be responsible for driving the development and execution of the new logo sales and leading a team of New Business Development Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue targets
- Manage and motive a team of New Business Development Executives (NBDE) to increase company revenue and achieve sales targets
- Setting individual sales targets and delegating responsibility for target accounts and prospects to sales personnel
- Overseeing coordinating the sales activities and performance of the sales team
- Providing training, guidance, and feedback to NBDEs
- Preparing sales budgets, projections, and reports and approving expenditures
- Tracking and analyzing sales performance based on key quantitative metrics
- Ensuring the NBDEs have the necessary resources and tools to perform
- Monitoring sales performance and addressing issues as necessary
- Supporting NBDEs negotiate and close deals
- Leverage existing industry relationships to increase new logo sales
- Develop relationships with decision-makers/influencers at prospects
- Collaborate with Product to optimize value propositions for customers
- Partner with Account Executives for account transition post-close
Required Skills
- Prior experience developing sales strategies
- Prior sales leadership/management experience
- Prior experience managing global sales teams and/or global experience
- Experience selling and knowledgeable about real-world data and data analytics
- Knowledgeable of market trends impact to customer buying decisions
- Experience and demonstrated ability to navigate customer-decision making process
- Ability to stimulate customer demand
- Proven track record of revenue growth and market penetration

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- Proven experience in real-world data and health data analytics sales, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the real-word data and health data analytics industries.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Healthcare certifications are ideal but not required
Work Environment:
- Remote - Home office that allows you to work efficiently and without disruption
- 50%-75% travel may be required
