School Psychologist - Full-Time Position (2024-2025 School Year)
Location: Antioch, IL
Soliant Education is currently hiring a full-time School Psychologist in the Antioch, IL area for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide psychological services and support to elementary students, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth in a school setting.
Position: School Psychologist
Caseload: Elementary Students
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Conduct case study evaluations for elementary students to assess their academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Review student records and collaborate with educators to develop comprehensive support plans.
- Provide counseling services to students experiencing academic, social, or behavioral challenges.
- Attend Multi-Disciplinary Committee (MDC) meetings to discuss student progress and support needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create and implement individualized support plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate findings with parents and school staff.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
- Must have state licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and collaborate with school teams
