Ecolab is looking for a
R&D Technical Analyst who will perform a variety of routine tasks to maintain product specifications including mechanical or chemical characteristics of an item or product, who will work under minimal supervision and receive instruction only as necessary. The successful candidate will work on assignments and performs tasks that are moderately complex, where discretion is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations regarding creation or maintenance of product specifications.

What You’ll Do
- Receives and catalogues Sales Service Samples.
- Communicates status of analysis to sales professionals.
- Runs the appropriate analyses.
- Interprets results of the analyses and their relationships.
- Produces a report and distributes it to the proper Ecolab sales professionals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
What You'll Need
- Associate's degree in physical science, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of laboratory experience required.
- Familiarity with wet chemical analysis, water chemistry, acid/base titrations, spectrophotometric analysis, ICP, liquid IC, and similar analytical methods.
- Computer proficiency with advanced writing skills.
- Ability to initiate tasks and work independently.
- Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and written with visitors, professionals, and plant personnel.
Working Conditions
- Position operates in a laboratory environment that is generally free of excessive noise, temperature extremes, but exposed to mildly hazardous chemicals and analytical equipment.
Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $44,500.00 - $66,700.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
