Job Description
In this role, the Quality Auditor is responsible for the following:
- Follow and support ISO 9001:2015 and plant safety systems.
- Conduct first piece audits as per QA SOP.
- Perform in-process and finished goods audits to ensure product quality.
- Report and record nonconformities in TMS software.
- Collect samples for lab testing as per SOPs.
- Input sample data into the Infinity SPC database.
- Print and verify sterile labels when needed.
- Conduct raw and finished goods inspections.
- Train new hires on auditing, testing, and systems.
- Assist with production new hire training.
- Be backup for and support the lab technicians.
- Maintain 5S standards in work areas.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Other tasks as required.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and the equivalent of 6-12 months related experience required.
- Good math and computer skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Intermediate English proficiency and the ability to comprehend standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form.
- Capability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, pictorial, or diagram form.
- Must be able to regularly stand, stoop, kneel, lift, move, and/or transport up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a critical contamination control environment, requiring the use of special gowning which includes the use of a facemask and latex gloves.
- Must be able to work 8-hour shifts and overtime as required.
- Ability to read and understand rulers.
- Ability to see clearly at a distance of 20” or less with or without a corrective lens.
