About the Job
Loopback Analytics is hiring an innovative and team-oriented ETL Engineer who will work closely with Loopback Real World Data and Data Integration teams. This position will be a critical member of the data pipeline team and will be involved in innovating with leading-edge data lake and big data technologies.
Job Duties
- Meet organization objectives by delivering comprehensive platforms in accordance with client expectations·
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure deliverables are met successfully and with client satisfaction.
- Be responsible for code quality and use of best practices across the development team through code reviews and knowledge exchange sessions
- Coordinate identification of requirements and recommend new application features in conjunction with development manager, product owners, and department managers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, performance issues, security issues, etc.
- Work with product owners, QA analysts, and senior staff to ensure deliverables are met successfully and with customer satisfaction
Requirements
Technical Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience as an ETL developer with cloud computing resources, especially Big Data platform such as Databricks, Snowflake, etc., and cloud computing such as Azure, AWS, etc.
- Proficiency in data related programming languages, preferably SQL, Python, Scala, or R
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business and technical problems in team-oriented environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD technologies such as Git, Azure DevOps, Airflow, Chef
- Development experience building and maintaining data pipelines to ingest, transform and deliver data products
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in developing software that handles personal health information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations is a plus
- Exhibit the ability to quickly learn and start writing software with new development technologies
- Proven capabilities of troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving as applied to complex projects
- Experience with healthcare data a plus, including clinical records, health claims, pharmacy
