We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven CTO to lead our Research and Development efforts and define our Tech strategy for the future. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven Engineering Leader with a track record of successin SaaS companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and testing of software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements and industry standards
- Provide Leadership in product design sprints and provide constructive feedback to help improve the overall quality of the product.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, providing updates on the progress of assigned tasks and projects.
P&L Responsibility:
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
Business Development:
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
Team Building:
- Demonstrate a self-starter mentality and the ability to identify and recruit effective staff to deliver against established goals.
Location and Travel:
- Farmington Hills, MI – This is an onsite role.
- Limited travel may be requested from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in SaaS organizations, with expertise in software architecture, scalability, and technical delivery.
- Proven ability to define and execute a comprehensive technology strategy, aligning technical initiatives with business objectives while managing infrastructure and delivery decisions.
- Demonstrated success in managing R&D resource allocation, setting goals and KPIs, and overseeing budgets and performance metrics, and with a strong focus on FedRamp compliance and security protocols.
- Extensive experience in data security, governance, and IT management, including balancing long-term strategies with immediate operational needs.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry or supply chain management
- Experience with service providers or pharmaceutical serialization services
- Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, or national chains
