Position Overview:We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and committed General Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is a contracted hourly role based in the area of the beautiful city of Fayetteville, Arkansas
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum expectations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students and promote academic excellence.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and use data to inform instructional decisions and interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.
- Communicate proactively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and academic goals through conferences, emails, and other means of communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and provide support for diverse learners.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
Contract Details
- Duration: 2024-2025 school year
- Hours: To be determined based on school schedule and needs
- Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience
