Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Soliant Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a short-term position in Bridgeport, CT. This role will run from ASAP through November, providing a great opportunity for an experienced COTA looking for a temporary assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Assist in delivering therapeutic interventions to students, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
- Work with students, teachers, and educational staff to support individualized treatment plans and goals
- Adapt activities and classroom environments to meet students' needs
- Track and report progress to the supervising OT and other members of the educational team
Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Connecticut
- Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Available to start immediately and commit to the short-term assignment
