Position Overview
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Employee Listening, Compensation and Learning Management Systems (LMS). This role serves as the primary liaison for system management, data reporting, and analytics to support HR leadership and Finance. The HRIS Specialist will enhance HR processes by identifying, developing, and implementing system-based automation and process improvements.
What you will work on
System Administration:
- Oversee the daily operations of HR platforms.
- Ensure system functionality, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Manage system configurations, upgrades, and maintenance in partnership with IT and external vendors.
Data Reporting and Analytics:
- Serve as the primary contact for HR and Finance reporting needs.
- Develop and distribute regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Analyze existing HR processes for efficiency and automation opportunities.
- Lead projects to implement new system functionalities and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline HR operations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with HR leadership to align system capabilities with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and external vendors for system integration and enhancements.
- Provide technical support and training to HR staff and system users.
Compliance and Security:
- Maintain system compliance with relevant regulations and data privacy laws.
- Ensure proper system security, user access, and data governance protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, Master’s is a big plus.
- 3+ years of experience managing HRIS or related HR technology platforms.
- Expertise in HRIS system administration, reporting, and process improvement.
- Experience integrating and connecting systems for better workflow efficiency.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of HR processes, data security, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specific HRIS and LMS platforms used by DrFirst.
- Certifications in HRIS, HR technology, or project management.
Physical Requirements
- 95% Phone/Desk work
- 5% Travel

- Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $65,000 - $70,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
